After initially debuting in China in October 2024, the OnePlus 13 is launching globally today. OnePlus introduced the OnePlus 13 worldwide on Tuesday, January 7, making it one of the first mainstream smartphones to feature the new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, ahead of the Samsung Galaxy S25 release. The global version is similar to the model sold in China since early November. Alongside the flagship processor, the OnePlus 13 boasts a massive 6000 mAh Silicon Carbon battery and is now IP68/IP69 certified. It is available today for purchase in the United States and Canada, starting at USD $899.99 and CAD $1,249.99.
The OnePlus 13 has a triple-camera system developed in collaboration with Hasselblad. It includes a 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary sensor, a 50MP Ultra-Wide camera, and a 50MP 3X Triprism Telephoto camera capable of capturing shots at over 10X zoom, utilizing AI Telephoto technology. The camera system is optimized for high-speed photography with features like Dual Exposure Algorithm, Clear Burst, and Action Mode to ensure sharp images of fast-moving objects.
Running on OxygenOS 15, the latest operating system from OnePlus, the OnePlus 13 integrates AI-powered tools such as AI Unblur, AI Detail Boost, and AI Reflection Eraser. These tools enhance image quality by refining details and eliminating unwanted reflections. The operating system also introduces Circle to Search and Intelligent Search for more intuitive user interaction. OxygenOS 15 improves on the previous version by offering a smoother, lighter user experience.
The device features a QHD+ 120Hz display, the first to receive an A++ rating from DisplayMate, recognized for its clarity, depth, and color accuracy. The screen is TÜV Rheinland Eye Care 4.0 certified, reducing eye strain, and includes Aqua Touch 2.0 technology, allowing it to register touch even through oily residues, sheepskin, or wool gloves. Durability is a key focus of the OnePlus 13, as it is the first OnePlus device to achieve both IP68 and IP69 ratings, providing waterproofing and dust resistance. Additionally, the phone has received a five-star SGS Screen Reliability Certification and has passed U.S. military-grade MIL-STD-810H tests.
The OnePlus 13 is available in three colors: Midnight Ocean, Arctic Dawn, and Black Eclipse. The Midnight Ocean model features microfiber vegan leather, offering durability and resistance to corrosion and scratches. The Arctic Dawn variant introduces a surface-based glass coating for a smooth, fingerprint-resistant finish.
Connectivity improvements are also part of the OnePlus 13’s offering. The phone supports Beacon Link, enabling devices to communicate up to 200 meters apart via Bluetooth, a useful feature for outdoor activities without network coverage. An update expected in summer 2025 will allow Bluetooth messaging through Beacon Link.

The AIRVOOC 50W Magnetic Charger offers fast wireless charging for compatible devices, reaching full charge in 75 minutes. On-the-go power solutions further ensure users stay charged throughout the day.
